About us
Formed in 1986, the Denham Support Group for the Thames Hospice has grown to over 150 members drawn from Denham and surrounding areas. The activities of its members have helped to raise almost £750,000 since its foundation for the Thames Hospice.
The hospice support group steering committee is entirely voluntary and meets regularly to identify and action funding options for the year ahead and to assist in fundraising activities more generally.
WHAT WE DO
Together with the local community, we undertake and assist in a broad range of activities from
sponsored bike rides and individual challenges to social events and country walks.
Our efforts are further enhanced by the many small local groups that meet on a regular basis and provide small sums, all of which provide an ongoing level of support to those that most need it.
